PROFESSIONAL COLOR PROFILING
Using a special RIP software, all files to be printed as posters undergo standardized color management based on the standards of the International Color Consortium. In an ICC-based workflow, the original color is determined and transformed into printing color using so-called ICC profiles. These profiles are characterization files that allow colors to be converted device-independently and perfectly using a PCS (profile connection space). Specifically for printers with an extremely large color gamut in reproduction - as is the case with the Canon large format printers we use - all colors in a file can be reproduced precisely (i.e., color accurately), regardless of whether it is an RGB, grayscale, or CMYK file. To ensure output at the highest level - and on a variety of different media - all papers and materials used at REPRO ONLINE undergo special profiling to create the best possible ICC profiles.
